CHARLES MANSON

Originally I did not want to enclude Mr. Manson in the ATH:RK Files, because Manson is the only "serial killer" now imprisoned that has never actually killed anyone. He had his "family" do all his killing for him. Due to popular demand, I eventually added him to the internet version of the ATH:RK Files but left him out of the paperback book. Below is his file. Due to the massive size of his case, I eventually linked back to the Crime Library for his full story. Enjoy.

Charles Manson. Aspiring singer/songwriter gone wrong. Very, very wrong. Charles Manson was a man who, durring the Hippie times, gathered together a group of followers, with the use of LSD and other drugs, and convinced them to kill. Manson convinced his "family" that he was a prophet and that all of his teachings would one day come true. That "the black man", as he called them, would rise against man and start a war of revenge against the white man, and something had to be done. Although Manson did not kill anyone himself, he did get his followers to kill on command.

Beverly Hills shaken

August 9, 1969. Murder in Beverly Hills. A secluded house that belonged to then 8 month pregnant actress Sharron Tate was the scene of goulish slaughter. The Manson Family claimed the lives of six people that night including Tate, and Steve Parent who was in the wrong place at the wrong time simply visiting William Garretson, the caretaker, who survived the massacre. The other victims were Abigail Folger and her lover, Voytek Frykowski, and Jay Sebring. Parent, Sebring, and Frykowski had all been shot by a .22 caliber gun, but that wasn't the only wounds they recieved. Steve Parent had been stabbed several times repeatedly. Sebring had been hit in the face and Frykowski had been repeatedly hit on the head with an unidentified blunt object. Sharron Tate recieved five knife stabs in the back and chest, puncturing a lung. Her son Paul Richard Polanski, died with her. Frykowski recieved two gunshot wounds, thirteen head blows and fifty-one stab wounds.

This size of this story is massive. We here at All Things Horror tried, but feel that we could not do it justice and have since decided to link back to The CRIME LIBRARY where you you can find the story in full. Please visit The CRIME LIBRARY but be sure to return to All Things Horror. Thank you.

(ALL THINGS HORROR WOULD LIKE TO THANK The CRIME LIBRARY FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO THIS, AND ALL OF THE REAL KILLERS FILES.)
